Ms. Freed provides services as a mediator to couples who are ending their partnership and who want to work with a trained, neutral facilitator who will help them identify their needs and interests, develop options and reach resolution of issues.  She helps develop parenting plans including the regular access the children will have to parents, holiday sharing, vacations, and decision-making and communication protocols.

Ms. Freed documents the decisions parents make in a comprehensive written parenting plan which then is incorporated by attorneys into an overall separation agreement. The parenting plan is developmentally focused so that the needs of children and their age and stage of development is a primary focus in looking at options for access.

When clients want a comprehensive agreement including the resolution of financial issues, Ms. Freed co-mediates with an attorney who is an experienced family law practitioner.
